Baked Pot Pie
If using a microwave, place the pie in a microwave safe bowl. Heat on high for 3 to 3 1/2 minutes or until heated through, depending on your microwave. If using an oven, bake at 350 degrees until heated. If using a food thermometer, the internal temperature should be 165 degrees.
Unbaked Pot Pie
Bake at 375 degrees. Cover edge with foil strips. Bake for 20 minutes. Cover entire pie with aluminum foil. Continue baking for about 40 minutes, depending upon your oven. Pie should be bubbling and reach internal temperature of 165. Remove foil and continue baking for 5 minutes to lightly brown the crust.
Baked Savory Pie
Place pie in a microwave safe container. Heat in microwave for 2 minutes or until heated through. Add grated cheese to the top and heat for another minute. If using conventional oven, cover with foil and place in a 350 degree oven until heated. If using a food thermometer, the temperature should be 165. Add grated cheese to top and heat until cheese is melted.
Unbaked Savory Pie
Bake at 375 degrees. Cover pie with aluminum foil and bake for approximately 50 to 55 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking until the pie is no longer moist on top. If using a food thermometer, bake until the temperature reaches at least 165 in the middle of the pie. Top with grated cheese.
Unbaked, Frozen, 10” Pie
Bake at 375 degrees. Cover the edge of the pie with strips of aluminum foil. Bake for 20 minutes. Cover the entire pie with aluminum foil. Turn the pie halfway around. Bake for another 40 to 50 minutes, or until the pie is swelling in the middle. The middle of the pie should not look moist. Uncover and bake for another 5 minutes or until the crust in the center of the pie is lightly browned.
Baked, Frozen Pie
If the pie is a single crust pie, remove wrapping and place in a 325 degree oven until heated through. Frozen, double crust pies can be reheated 350 degrees. Make sure the pie is throughly heated to prevent too much moisture remaining in the pie. Reheat for approximately 40 to 45 minutes, depending upon your oven.
